Freeriding - Skiing in open terrain
A sense of freedom and adventure!
Off-piste skiing, also known as freeriding, dates back to the origins of skiing. In those days, there were no pistes; today it is fashionable to look for challenges in open terrain, find virgin snow fields and get “fresh tracks”.
The charm of freeriding: exploring untouched slopes and challenging your own ability. This, however, is associated with certain risks. Fitness, safety, and knowledge of local conditions are critical.
