On the Saalbach-Hinterglemm - Leogang ski circuit, you can really get around...!
Powder snow and piste enjoyment, over 200 km of perfectly groomed slopes and 55 state-of-the-art gondolas and lifts - this is the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski circuit. In the Nitro Fun Park on the Asitzmulden lift in Leogang and the floodlit Hinterglemm Fun Park, spectacular rails wait to be rocked by snowboarders and freestylers.
There is a permanent, free speedway with automatic timekeeping next to the Almlift, near the middle station. And when your stomach is growling and your legs are burning, stop off at one of the region’s many farm huts. Taking a break in one of the many mountain restaurants is a natural part of a fun-filled day of skiing.
Some route tips for the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski circuit:
- Saalbach circuit - blue slopes, 16 km, time required: 2.5 hours without breaks - the circuit for everyone.
- Skicircus circuit - blue slopes, day trip, time required: approx. 5 hours without breaks, 40 km
- Hinterglemm circuit - for pleasure skiers and carvers, 23 km, time required: approx. 3 hours without breaks.
The Saalbach-Hinterglemm Leogang circuit is known as one of the best-known and most beautiful ski resorts in the Alps, and rightly so. And to top it all: in winter 2015/16, by merging with Fieberbrunn (Tyrol) and its 240 kilometres of pistes, it will become one of the world’s largest!
